Leadership Team

At James Kennedy our grade 7 students are given the opportunity to be involved in a meaningful way in the life of the school. The leadership team provides students an opportunity to exercise their leadership skills by being an integral part of many of our school functions, including Sports Day, Jump Rope for Heart, Office Monitoring, assemblies, classroom monitoring, playground supervision and so much more. The expectations are high when a student joins the leadership team. They are expected to lead by example, exhibiting integrity, initiative, motivation and compassion. Peer to peer mentoring is a large part of leadership. Being part of the leadership team is indicative of wanting to do better, be a part of something bigger and having a positive impact in the life of the school and the students and staff within our walls.
